Using native breeds such as shorthorn beef and texel lambs we provide high quality meat at an affordable price. As we are a small, independent butchery; we can also cater to specific orders if you have something particular in mind. We offer a wide selection of condiments and sauces to compliment your purchases whether it's a traditional roasting joint or a superb steak for a restaurant quality meal at home. Along with this we also stock free range eggs, milk, a small selection of fresh vegetables and a variety of bakery products.

Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Martin has been a butcher for the last 28 years and has worked in a total of 4 different countries. This has given him a vast level of experience in all aspects of butchery, including traditional butchery styles from different cultures, and charcuterie.
Martin worked for Richard Hobday when the shop was White Peak Farm Butchery for 11 years before taking it over as his own.
All our meat comes from British reared, native breeds such as Shorthorn beef and Texel lamb. These older, slow growing breeds provide a taste that cannot be compared to supermarket hybrids.
Our suppliers are all high welfare meaning the animals have enjoyed open fields and quality feed throughout their life to ensure the very best meat is produced.
Our expert butchers dry age our beef and butcher all the meat to perfection leading to exquisite flavours ready for you to cook at home. If you require any advice we are happy to help.
